Day 1 - Airport / Colombo

A representative will meet and greet you upon your arrival at the airport and will take you to Colombo for check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will go on a city tour of Colombo, returning to the hotel afterward for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 - Colombo / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya

Following breakfast, you will journey to Polonnaruwa - the second capital of Sri Lanka in the 11th and 12th centuries. You will visit the Lankatilleke Vihare, Thuparama Dagoba and Gal Vihare before proceeding to Sigiriya.

Day 3 - Aunuradhpaura

After breakfast you will leave for Anuradhapura, the first capital of Sri Lanka. Here you will see the remains of the Brazen Palace (which was once nine storeys high) and the Sri Maha Bodhi - a Bo Tree over 2,000 years old, grown from the branch of the very tree beneath which the Buddha attained enlightenment. You will also visit the ruins of the Ruwanweliseya Dagaba, see the 2nd Century BC shrine containing the Buddha’s collarbone relic, the Abhayagiriya Temple and the Jetawanaramaya Dagobas. Afterward, you will view the Kuttam Pokuna or twin ponds and the Samadhi Buddha - statue of the Buddha in a meditative pose, which is being acknowledged worldwide as a masterpiece.

Day 4 - Sigiriya / Dambulla / Kandy

After breakfast at a hotel, you will climb up the Sigiriya Rock Fortress 
where you will find the remains of the Palace and its environs. En route to 
Kandy, you will stop by the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple and the Spice 
Garden in Matale. You will check in at the hotel upon arrival at Kandy. In 
the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and 
watch a Kandyan Cultural Dance performance.

Day 5 - Kandy / Pinnawela / Kandy

You will go on a sightseeing tour after breakfast to explore Kandy 
and the Upper Lake You will visit the Elephant Orphanage at 
Pinnawela and the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. 
At the end of the day, you will return to the hotel for dinner and

Day 6 - Kandy/ Nuwara Eliya

Enjoy breakfast before leaving for Nuwara Eliya. En route, you will 
visit a tea factory and tea plantation where you can catch a glimpse
 of women plucking the tea leaves or ‘Green Gold’. Upon arrival at 
Nuwara Eliya, also known as ‘Little England’, you will go on a late
 afternoon tour.

Day 7 - Nuwara Eliya / Yala

This morning, you will depart for Yala after breakfast. In the afternoon, 
you will go on a trip to the Yala National Park or Bundala Wildlife 
Park and see a vast array of animals including deer, peacock, elephant, 
and wild buffalo and catch sight of a leopard or bear if you are lucky enough.




 At the end of the day, you will check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Yala


Day 8 - Yala / Galle / Colombo

After breakfast, you will visit the Galle Dutch Fort before your 
return to Colombo, transfer to airport or drop off at a beach 
extension hotel of your choice
